Wedekemper's, Inc.

Wedekemper's, Inc. was started by Clinton and Dorothy Wedekemper in the year 1956. It was on their family farm that they realized the need for area farmers to have access to and purchase grain-handling equipment in order to produce ground feed for livestock. Thus, the business was established and still successful today.

In the early years of their business the Wedekempers expanded their equipment inventory to grain storage and equipment necessary for harvesting. As wire cribs were replaced with large capacity steel bins, and corn-pickers were replaced with combines, the farmers were able to store grain that they harvested.

In 1966, as the customer base expanded throughout South-central Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Wedekemper moved the operation to its current location, located on Route 50 between Sandoval and Carlyle, Illinois. The product line expanded even more with equipment such as grain augers, continuous flow grain dryers, and commercial storage facilities for local elevators.

Today, Wedekemper's Inc. continues to grow along with area farmers, elevators, and other agricultural businesses. "Our mission is to retain our faithful customers by continuing to provide high-quality products and services. Also, reach out to new customers in order to expand our business market."
